Besides the presidential election and votes on Congressmen, I will be watching votes on ballot issues that concern Christians. Also, I will be live-blogging the election results tonight. These are some of the important ballot initiatives to watch.

States Voting on Gay Marriage:

• Maine
• Maryland
• Minnesota
• Washington

States Voting on Decriminalization of Marijuana or allowing it for medicinal purposes:

• Arkansas
• Colorado
• Massachusetts
• Montana
• Washington

States Voting on Life Issues:

• California - Proposition 134 repeals the death penalty
• Florida - Amendment 6 will ban state funding of abortion except for cases of incest, rape and life of the mother
• Massachusetts - Question 2 - legalizes drug assisted suicide for for mentally competent patients that are terminally ill and expected to die within six months
• Montana - LR-120 requires parental consent for teens under 16 years old for an abortion
