Some of America's most famous industrialists were Christians that spoke publicly about their faith. Today I came across the following quote by Henry Ford, founder of the Ford Motor Company, and decided to look for more quotes that would link God and capitalism. Although I didn't find many quotes, I wanted to share these:
"I will build a car for the great multitude. It will be large enough for the family, but small enough for the individual to run and care for. It will be constructed of the best materials, by the best men to be hired, after the simplest designs that modern engineering can devise. But it will be so low in price that no man making a good salary will be unable to own one – and enjoy with his family the blessing of hours of pleasure in God's great open spaces." - Henry Ford
I've long said that capitalism without bankruptcy is like Christianity without Hell. - Frank Borman
I am an ardent supporter of capitalism - but I also understand that while individuals have inalienable, God-given rights, corporations do not. - Gary Hamel

There are numerous critics of capitalism. This final quote is from the author of the Communist Manifesto.
"My object in life is to dethrone God and destroy capitalism." - Karl Marx
