Visiting Friends With AIDS
December 1st is World AIDS Day.
I've had two friends die from this disease. My first friend to die of AIDS was Chris Miller, a friend from high school. I visited him the day before he died.
My next friend to die of AIDS was a man named Billy Lovell. Billy became a Christian and started a Bible study group for other AIDS patients. One year I visited Billy in the hospital on Christmas Day. So glad I didn't pass up those moments to visit them.
If you have a friends with AIDS, please don't abandon them. Show them the love of Christ.
Jesus once said, "I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me." - Matthew 25:36
