Prophecy 2017 – Major Shifts Around the World

This is the tenth in a yearly series of prophetic assessments of our world in the light of Biblical prophecy and current events.

The first was in 2008, since then little has changed in the general direction of our nation and the world. Liberal viewpoints, abortion, unbridled licentiousness and the unleashing of the gross perversion of the LGBT and transgenderism have marched ahead like a parade in Moscow’s Red Square.

Prior to WWII political changes swept the world with the emergence of new and fledgling democracies, Nazism, communism and fascism. Dealing with everything except the sin prone corrupt hearts of men always results in the search for an alternative solution to the world’s problems.

“The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?” (Jer 17: 9)

Politics is still seen as the answer. Little has changed, but today we are entering into what might be called the final throes. It is in this generation that the world will prep itself to receive the world’s last and very worst of all leaders.

2017 will be a pivotal year in preparation for the final conflict. Many people are convinced that this will be the year that the antichrist will be revealed. FULL POST

Biblical Prophecy Exposes the “Two State Solution” as Absolute Nonsense

It is hard to imagine a body of anti-Semites sitting in a nation that is allied to Israel working so hard to destroy that sovereign nation. But this is the UN, an innocuous group of one world thinkers, supported largely by the United States taxpayer, who ignore scripture, are void of all prophetic knowledge and the plan God has for his very special people – the Jews.

When the British met the Minutemen at Lexington it made history in what has been coined “The shot heard round the world.” Not since then has there been anything like it – but wait – now there’s Obama’s parting shot against the nation of Israel, our strongest Middle Eastern ally.

This is also history, howbeit, grossly profane.

After he labeled us all gun toting, Bible clinging angry citizens; Mr. Obama has remained true to form. In his final act of disdain for our history and heritage he called for our representative to the UN to abstain from the vote, which essentially puts Israel at the mercy of the rest of the world – a world with even less knowledge of the prophetic destiny of Israel than our outgoing president.

We believe that history is made wholly by nations acting out their part in a developing world, but scripture say that nations create history based on their ignorance and rejection of the prophetic message of the bible. The immutable maxim here is that when politics meets prophecy, politics always loses. FULL POST

It's "Merry Christmas" --not "Happy Holidays"

Christmas celebrates that Jesus Christ came to us! Think about that fact. As Billy Graham rightly said, "The very purpose of Christ's coming into the world was that He might offer up His life as a sacrifice of men. He came to die. This is the heart of Christmas."

With that said, let's recognize Christ as we all say "Merry Christmas!" instead of the PC greeting of "Happy Holidays". After all, Christ's birth is what we are celebrating. Christmas should not be a time of political correctness. It is a time when we should be happy and free to share about our Lord Jesus Christ!

There will always be people who disagree, but we are not harming anyone when we say "Merry Christmas". And people don't harm us when mentioning holidays like Hanukkah.

With that said, we do have the right and the joy to celebrate the birth of our Savior and Lord. Don't let the grinches of this world spoil it! Amen? As President-elect Donald Trump has said, "We're going to start saying Merry Christmas again." It is refreshing that this year so many people are starting to say "Merry Christmas" again. We've been wished "Merry Christmas" more this year than ever. It's wonderful!

Please embrace the freedoms afforded to us in the United States. Thanks to our veterans, we are free to say "Merry Christmas" and display a nativity for all to enjoy. FULL POST

Prophecy Wake Up Call - The World As We Know It Does Not End by Chance

The New Testament asserts that men are made a little lower than the angels. (Heb 2: 7) Today’s science insists that man stumbled into creation and now is only a few steps above apes and baboons on the evolutionary scale.

Prophecy says that near the end of time “knowledge” (Da 12: 4) shall be increased and according to the Apostle Paul those wielding this knowledge will decide that God has nothing to do with their existence.

Enter modern man, living and fulfilling every word of prophecy, all at the same time they see themselves as the purveyors of the outer stars and planets across the universe.

Deciding which world view is correct is easier than anyone might expect.

The Apostle Paul also stated that man’s knowledge would serve to “puff” men up, or lead them to error by means of pride in their own new-found knowledge. (1 Co 8: 1 NIV) FULL POST

United States of California?

We are not the United States of California, but in a nation without the Electoral College, we might as well be.

Even President Obama has opined that the Electoral College is a relic of the past.

Democrats are now at work with revisionist legislation for the Electoral College’s demise. But our wise Founders prepared for an eventuality that a regional candidate could dominate a national election. Or in the case of California, a bastion of liberals with enough popular votes could take our nation anywhere it wanted to go.

The liberal media keeps clamoring that Hillary Clinton won the popular vote by more than 2.8 million votes. Without California (where Trump wisely saved his money and mostly campaigned elsewhere) Trump won, handily. Here’s the 2016 presidential election without California: Trump won by 1.4 million votes, 58,474,401 to Clinton’s 57,064,530. Trump also won 30 states, earning the 306 Electoral votes to Clinton’s 232.

California politics are virtually Republican-free. No Republican ran for state office and none ran for the congressional districts. California’s Democratic tax and spend policies have been firmly entrenched for decades. California won’t become a Red state in our lifetime. FULL POST

Forcing people to blaspheme for Christmas

This may be a completely kooky idea, but may I suggest it is time to reconsider our current battle with culture over Christmas? Here is my proposition: I say we “reclaim Christmas” by not insisting every store clerk must mumble, “Merry Christmas.” Permit me to make my case.

The true Christmas is a solemn celebration of the greatest miracle of all time: God became flesh and dwelt among us (John 1: 14). To say, “Merry Christmas” is to wish someone a joyful incarnation day. Should we really demand that a pagan utter this Christian greeting?

Perhaps we have forgotten what it means to say “Merry Christmas.” Just as we would not force a store clerk to give the traditional Easter greeting, “Christ is risen,” we should not demand they say, “Merry Christmas.” If Christmas is indeed about Christ, we are asking pagans to say something only a Christian should say. We are forcing them to use the name of Christ to speak a blessing to someone. Last time I checked, that is blasphemy.

Forcing our culture to say something they do not believe is the opposite of Christianity. The world should expect forced conformity from Muslims and totalitarian dictators, but not from us. FULL POST

John Glenn’s faith grew stronger in space

John Glenn in 1962

By Mark Ellis

As an American astronaut he gained heroic stature when he became the first man to orbit the earth aboard Friendship 7 in 1962. Previously, he won five Distinguished Flying Crosses in World War II, and years later went on to become a U.S. Senator from Ohio.

Perhaps less well known is that he was a man of deep Christian faith. Yesterday, when he left the bounds of earth once more at age 95, he passed into the arms of his Savior, Jesus Christ.

He was one of the pioneering astronauts of the Mercury program at a time when space travel was inherently risky. He said he prayed every day during that time. Those prayers were needed on Glenn’s historic first orbits in space.

During the return on February 20, 1962, Glenn’s heat shield was thought to have come loose and many believed it might fail during re-entry, which would cause Glenn’s capsule to be incinerated in its fiery descent.

Glenn was instructed to take manual control of the capsule and described “a real fireball outside” as he re-entered the atmosphere. Thankfully, his and many other prayers were answered when he splashed down safely in the Caribbean. FULL POST

“It’s the Law of the Land” – The Proverb from Hell

The prophet Ezekiel was instructed to rebuke the ancient Israelites for using a proverb; (saying or common catch phrase) because they presumed that everything the prophet said was not to be fulfilled until many years into the future.

“Son of man, what is that proverb that ye have in the land of Israel, saying, The days are prolonged, and every vision faileth? Tell them therefore, thus saith the Lord GOD; I will make this proverb to cease, and they shall no more use it as a proverb in Israel; but say unto them, the days are at hand, and the effect of every vision.” (Eze 12: 22, 23)

The prophet appendaged his warning with two peculiar words in the next passage, they are words to ponder.

“For there shall be no more any vain vision nor flattering divination within the house of Israel.” (Eze 12: 24)

Flattering divinations were made by professional (false) prophets who tickled the ears of those in the upper echelons of the priesthood and political rulers. They were prophecies that affirmed every law and decision of the constabulary. They were compensated richly for the garbage they spewed.

The word, vain in the passage is unique only because it is literal. It has no secondary meaning. FULL POST

A Letter to America from Australia

A letter to America from Australia

The Victorian State Government is preparing legislation to legalise euthanasia in 2017. This is not a new attempt to alter the law by giving dying people the right to die peacefully. The fear of pain and suffering, of being unable to die without misery and sorrow is a cry from the heart. And the Northern Territory too has long been in favour of a change in the law to legalise death by mercy killing. Where people live in remote areas of Australia palliative services to comfort and help dying people through their last days are sometimes out of reach. So the desire to legislate mercy killing is, for them, a legitimate concern.
But there is more feeling than thought in this legislation. For over 5000 years mercy killing has not been allowed because life is sacred and because western civilisations inherited laws that were made to protect life from being disposed of for any reason. The chief reason is that human beings are sinful and are capable of taking life for utilitarian reasons, for self interest, money and ambition, for inheritances and power. A recent comment on TV by Dick Smith, a well known business man who opposes this legislation said, 'The goal posts can easily be moved,' meaning that the reasons for terminating life, once approved, may be made without number, as in abortion, once only performed if the mother's life was in danger, can now be obtained almost on demand because many women claim that they have a right to do with their bodies what they like.
I can visualise a time, if this law is passed, when, to save money, people will be encouraged to die to save the government money and hospital beds. This type of legislation is naive and thoughtless, turning a blind eye to man's sinful and often ignorant nature, in favour of blind humanism. It is surprising to me how society forgets Hitler and the gas chambers, Nuremberg, the bombing of Nagasaki, and the crucifixion of Christ.
Let us not let feelings turn our backs on reality and let courage and bravery rule our dying days.
