Most students are bored and quickly forget what they were taught in history classes ... but Ashley Unzicker is no ordinary student.
Ashley took a class in Baptist history at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and turned the historical high points into a rap song.
According to Ashley's former history professor Nathan Finn, "She raps Baptist history and theology to the tune of the Fresh Prince theme song. I’m amused."
Baptist History Rap travels through 400 years of time - from pastor John Smyth that started a church in 1609 to Fred Luter being elected in 2012 as the first black president of the Southern Baptist Convention.
Enjoy ... and learn.
